| CLUBS Old Hickory has over 80 sets of authentic hickory shafted clubs. The clubs date from the late 1890’s through the early 1930’s. All clubs have leather wrapped grips. BALLS Old Hickory has reproduction gutty golf balls made in Scotland for its events. The balls have a mesh pattern dimple design and the balls have the same flight and distance characteristic of a golf ball from the early 1900’s. BAGS Old Hickory uses a 1904 replica golf bags for its events. The leather and canvas bag is lined with lamb’s wool. COSTUMES Old Hickory has hundreds of pairs of knickers and plus fours in various sizes and colors. Old Hickory also has the knicker socks for the costumes. The costumes can be rented for the day of the event. PICTURES - Check out these sample photos! Old Hickory can take group pictures and individual shots of the participants. The pictures are developed to give them an antique look. Please contact Old Hickory to prearrange the pictures. RULES Old Hickory provides a list of golf rules for the hickory event. The rules cover such items as the stymie rule and what to do if your golf ball breaks. ASSISTANCE WITH COURSE SET-UP Old Hickory’s experienced staff can assist with the set-up of the golf course to ensure a fun and challenging day of hickory shafted golf. ASSISTANCE WITH EVENT FORMAT Ask Old Hickory for ideas on the event format. A popular format from the early 1900’s is the bogey competition.
